Response from Rickey Stone regarding NREMT Provisional Certification:

"NREMT’s “provisional” license should have no effect on Florida’s EMTs and Paramedics.  The State only requires our EMTs and paramedics to pass the NREMT cognitive exam now.   I spoke to NREMT (Donny Woodyard) and they agree it will not change how Florida and NREMT do business."

"Provisional licenses are not permitted. Virtual simulations are acceptable."
